as some of you've probably noticed, i haven't updated this blog in a while.
idk, i just haven't felt motivated to write anything.

but i just wanted to say that i'm doing great (graduating the gymnasium next week, got a job, etc.) and introduce my new website

FATPANDACLUB

for now it's just silly panda doodles and not much else, but hopefully it'll slowly evolve to my full portfolio. i have two webdesign jobs coming up and i plan on getting tons of art done doing my gap-year.

i still read a lot of you guys' blogs, even tho i suck at commenting.

Folk der påstår at 3.g er hårdt lyver. Eller også har jeg det bare ualmindeligt let.
Vi har så lidt timer for tiden og næsten ingen afleveringer, det er helt vildt.
Mandag og tirsdag var der AT-vejledning, hvilket betød at jeg samlet var i skole 15 minutter på de to dage. Perfekt timing, da foråret også endelig besluttede sig for at kigge frem de dage. Jeg havde super meget energi og overskud pga. solen og varmen, så jeg fik lavet en hel masse.
Onsdag mødte jeg kl. 12 og havde fri kl. 13, og her i dag har jeg også kun haft 4 timer, hvoraf de første gik med ekskursion til Dansk Designcenter og Kunstindustrimuseet.

I næste uge er der terminsprøver, hvilket betyder at jeg har fri torsdag og fredag, og i næste uge igen er der igen AT-vejledning, der også giver mig fri torsdag og fredag. Luksus!

Efter timerne idag var der "fastelounge" på skolen med tøndeslagning og udklædningskonkurrence (ja jeg ved godt at det var fastelavn i søndags, vi er lidt langsomme på min skole). Selve eventet var ikke specielt spændende, men en begivenhed der giver mig anledning til at have min panda kigurumi på i offentligheden, er nu aldrig helt skidt.

Ellers sker der ikke rigtig noget stort i mit liv for tiden. Jeg får arbejdet en masse (penge, ja tak), set nogle søde mennesker og drukket igennem i weekenderne (og til tider i hverdagene, ups). Så det er jo fint. Jeg er også begyndt at tegne mere, hvilket at jeg er rigtig glad for. For et par dage siden modtog jeg de her lækre sataner med posten:

Ny måned, ny årstid, "ny" start på denne blog.
Jeg har været rigtig umotiveret til at skrive her det sidste stykke tid. Eller, sagt på en anden måde, jeg har ikke vidst hvad jeg skulle skrive. Så nu har jeg besluttet mig for at starte lidt forfra og skrive på dansk i stedet for engelsk. Jeg forstiller mig at det stadig kommer til at fungere som min "dagbog"/hvad jeg lige har i hovedet blog, men forhåbentligt en smule anderledes end før.

Fra i dag af er det officielt forår. Ikke at man har kunnet mærke det, med dagens -3 grader og grå skyer på himmelen. Men på trods af det, og tanken om at vi sikkert får en snebyge midt i april som vi plejer, så giver det alligevel lidt kriller i maven. Jeg er efterhånden mere end klar til varme og sol, så jo tættere vi kommer på sommer, jo gladere bliver jeg. Festivaller, stranden, Berlin (forhåbentlig), grill-aftener, bare ben; ja tak.

I går var jeg med min veninde Andrea ude og spise. Vi har virkelig mange mad-aftaler (altid på jagt efter billige deals og lækre steder) og i går fik vi endelig ført en af dem ud i livet - Middag på Dalle-Valle café i Fiolstræde. De har nemlig 50% på alle retter lørdag-tirsdag. Hvem kan sige nej til det? Jeg fik nachos, Andrea en salat (sund type) og så delte vi en tiramisu. Virkelig billigt og virkelig lækkert. Der var godt nok mange mennesker, men det kan helt klart anbefales hvis man er i København.

Nu sidder jeg og prøver at tage mig sammen til at komme i gang med lektierne. Kom hjem fra arbejde for en times tid siden og nu venter der en 15 siders læsning, før at jeg kan smutte i seng. Jeg har sagt det før, men jeg elsker virkelig mit arbejde. - Lektier, det er en anden historie.

Tror at jeg vil sætte noget musik på og så komme i gang med det der dansk til i morgen. Jeg er gået lidt i stå med at høre nyt musik for tiden (Less Than Jake, Le Tigre, Marcy Playground og Justin Timberlake har lidt bare kørt på repeat), men jeg er blevet rigtig glad for denne sang med Swirlies:

Last day of winter break.
I've enjoyed the past week a lot, but it doesn't feel like a week, more like 3 days. I wouldn't mind another week off.
Monday I went out with two friends and tuesday we met up again, to cure our hangovers with coffee. We went to Paludan, which is like a combined bookshop and café. I love it there, it's such a nice place. And their roast potatoes with chilimayo - so good.
Wednesday my friend Line came over. We've been talking about making Mac&Cheese for quite some time now, so now we finally did. Neither of us had tasted it before, but we're huge cheese lovers, so it sounded perfect for us. And it was! Probably one of the most unhealthy meals I've ever had, but it was delicious.
Look at all this divine cheese.

Thursday, friday and saturday went just like the days before; with lots of delicious food (hot chocolate with marsmallows among others, yum), going out and basically doing nothing productive. But hey, that's what vacation is for, right?

Today I've been at the gym, reading for tomorrow's class and doodling. I've had a long break from doing any creative stuff, but lately I've felt really inspired and I want to start drawing and painting all the time again. I can't wait for march to come, so I can get paid and buy new drawing tools. I really need a new set of nice pencils.

Today was great.
I baked for my english class, so we had cookies and coffee while we read Macbeth.
Then I got graded for my SRP -I got a fucking 12! (A/A+). Shit, I had not expected that AT ALL. I'm so incredibly happy right now.
When I got home, my mum had bought cake and chocolates for me, to celebrate ♥

Then I went to see Black Swan. Finally! They all talked about it on a community I'm in on Livejournal, in november, and I've really wanted to watch it since then.
It was everything I expected it to be and more (and mind you, my expectations were sky high). Wow. Just wow.
I saw it in the biggest auditorium in Grand Teatret, which is very classic, with red velvet and carved ceilings. It was perfect for this film, towards the end, at the premiere of the ballet, it almost felt like you were there yourself.

Now I need to prepare for a presentation on the wall between Palestine and Israel tomorrow, as well as finish the website I'm doing for my design class.

Life has been good recently.
Nothing particular happened/is happening, no recent changes, nothing like that at all, and yet I feel so happy these days. As whimsy as it may sound.

Tomorrow I'm going to a mosque with my religion class. Then work. Then movie-night with myself and popcorn. I've decided that I need to do stuff like that alone more often. What should I watch? I'm thinking about re-watching Trainspotting or Lords of Dogtown.
Saturday I have work again and then a friends' housewarming. On sunday there's hangover dinner at Katalin's. Falafel, tomato quiche, homebaked ryebread, hummus, mhmmm can't wait.

On tuesday I'm FINALLY going to watch Black Swan. SO EXCITED.
And next sunday Nobody Knows/Dare mo Shiranai at Cinemateket's japanese film festival. I wish I could watch all the films at that festival, supposedly they're all amazing.

Yesterday was one of the best days in a long time.
I woke up at 9am to a text from my teacher, saying she had to cancel our only class that day, so I had the whole day off. Went back to sleep, woke up an hour later and went over to my friend Andreas apartment. We had pancakes, goofed around and dressed up in our 'heavy metal outfits'. Why? Because we had been casted to be extras on a tv-commercial. Our role was 'young people at heavy metal gig' haha. It was a lot of fun actually. We just had to dance and jump around, headbang, etc. for a couple of hours. There was a band playing, and they were actually pretty good. The best part was when they had to record some girl saying a slogan or something, and then the band had to play without sound and all us at 'the concert' had to dance without music. Such a bizarre experience. Anyway, after the concert, we were supposed to be 'young people at a party', but because the caster screwed up or something, they had to cancel that and we could go home after just 3 hours. - But we'll still get paid for the 7 hours we were supposed to be there. 800kr (~$150), kachiiing.

Sneaked this photo during one of the brakes. Most people had to hold their phones up as if they were recording the concert. As you can see, we weren't a lot of people. Probably like 20. But the way they shot it should make it look like we were 100 or something. Good luck

Went back to Andreas place and chilled for a few hours, and then I had to go meet up with two other friends. We were going to see some other friends play a concert. I never heard the guys play before, but they were great. Idk how I feel about their music, it's some sort of very progressive rock, which could be a bit weird at times, but they are really great musicians.
After their gig, my friend Katalin and I went out to get a beer in 7eleven and on our way back to the venue, we bumped into some people camping. Yes, camping. On Nytorv, in the middle of Copenhagen. Turned out Roskilde Festival were having some event, so three camps attending this year, could get a ticket for the festival, if they did this. The campers were great. They invited us to beer and booze and despite having to sleep in tents in minus degrees, they were all in such a good mood. Katalin and I stayed with them for about an hour, feeling the true Roskilde spirit in the middle of January, haha.
When we got back to the venue, the last band was done playing and we went backstage to hang out with the guys. When the venue closed, we all went to some bars, and suddenly it was 6 in the morning. I had school at 8. Womp womp. So I pulled an all nighter and went. I felt surprising fresh and clear, but I was probably a good thing I only had three classes.
When I got home, I could sleep 4 hours before having to go to work. There was a premiere at the theater, so I had a lot of stuff to do. But there was also tons of candy and wine, so it was ok.
I got home around 1½ hour ago and now I'm just looking forward to getting a full nights sleep.

Tomorrow is friday, but I think I'll just stay at home. The same goes for saturday, where I'm going to visit my dad. Sunday my cousins are celebrating their birthday with a big family brunch. I'm excited, I haven't had a real brunch for a while.

I doubt any of you read through this, it's ok, it's probably not that interesting for other people. But I felt like documenting this day. Writing this blog is primarily for my own sake. I can't keep a diary, so instead I'm blogging. Then I'll have something to look back at in the future.

I've been sick with the flu for the last few days. My life have consisted of sleep, tea, bad tv, playing games on my iPhone, and internet. And anime; I re-watched Paradise Kiss.

I'm really looking forward to going to school tomorrow.

Ugh, winter go away. I just want spring already. I miss being able to sit outside and enjoy the sun on my face.
I want summer even more though. Roskilde and Nakke Festival, going to the beach, ice-cream, picnics and bbq parties, beautiful people, hitchhiking, summer dresses, long days and no school; absolute freedom.

154 days until I graduate. 154 days before summer really begins. I can do this.

As some of you may have noticed, I've been playing around with my layout the past two days. At first I tried something simple without a header. Then I tried a header with one of the original Winnie-the-Pooh illustrations. Then I moved that around a lot, but whatever I did, it looked horrible.
After experimenting with a bunch of different designs, I settled with this. The four photographs on the header are some of my favorite ever.

I downloaded the 'Hipstamatic' app for my iPhone yesterday and I quite like it. Basically it's a camera app, making your photos look more like oldschool analog photographs. You can change lens, film and blitz on the camera, it's pretty cool.

Shot these -very- whimsy photos today.

It's almost 11:30pm now and I have no prospect of going to sleep for a while; I had wayyy too much coffee earlier. And I have some Macbeth to read for english class anyway.
Tomorrow is friday. I'm madly excited for this weekend to begin.

One week since my last update and I don't even have anything interesting to say.
I'm sure you fellow bloggers know how sometimes you feel like writing almost every single day and sometimes weeks can pass without you really feeling like blogging.

I'm back in school. Back for my last semester ever at Christianshavns Gymnasium. In 4½ months I'll be sweating over my final exams. It's a strange feeling.

I'm keeping busy these days. Tomorrow I'll go to my friends house and eat sushi with some girls from our class. Thursday I have work at the theater. Friday I'm going out with Katalin. Saturday my classmate is hosting a 'New Years Eve' because she was in India on december 31st and didn't get to celebrate properly, haha. And sunday Andrea is coming over for dinner.

I don't really feel like being too much alone at the moment (maybe because I hardly saw any people during the christmas holidays), so I'm quite happy with all these plans.

I got my boots and iPhone in the mail last week and I love them both so much. I've probably used my materialistic quota for the year, haha, but it's okay. My feet are warm and I have a sweet piece of technology with me everywhere I go. Couldn't ask for more.

I've been looking at tattoos a lot recently. I'm not getting anything done myself for a while, but damn, I love (nice) tattoos. Someday I want a piece or two (or more) myself. Idk what yet though. Maybe 'We shall get there someday', which is from a Winnie-the-Pooh quote; "Rivers know this: There is no hurry. We shall get there some day."

First post in 2011.

In my last post, I talked about how great 2010 was for me. I really hope 2011 will be so as well.
Some pretty big things will be going on. I'll graduate the gymnasium and then take a year off; the first time in 14 years I won't go to school. Can't wait.
I'll kick off my gap year by traveling to Japan for a month. Madly excited about that. This has been a dream of mine for around 6 years now.
When I return from Japan, I'll find a job (hopefully) and move out. Another big dream of mine. Not that I dislike my mum or anything, but I've been urging to move out for a couple of years now.
And when I find a place, I'll spend the last months of 2011 chilling in my new apartment, doing whatever I want, enjoying not having to write papers, read heavy history books and stuff like that anymore. (I'll be working of course, but that's ok). Maybe I'll save up for a trip to Morocco or some other ~exotic~ place in winter 2012.

I'm also going to Roskilde festival and Nakke festival during the summer, like last year. I really shouldn't go - I should be saving my money for Japan - but I'm going to anyway. They're the best things about summer. And I'll be working at both festivals, so I won't have to pay for a ticket. It'll be okay.

..cool story bro.
TL:DR: 2011 will be great as hell. I'll graduate and take a gap year, go to festivals, travel to Japan and move out.

Oh, and my resolutions are:
- Read at least 1 book a month
- Stop eating meat for the next 2 months and continue if it goes well
- Start living more healthy in general.
- Loose the weight I gained in 2010

School starts on thursday, so I'm trying to enjoy these last days of vacation.
Went out for ice-cream (Coldstone!) with my friend Trine today. We also did a bit of shopping. I bought these:

I already have the exact same bra, but it's pretty, comfortable and on sale, so bought one more. And I fell in love with the leopard ring as soon as I saw it. Both from H&M

Oh, and I dyed my hair just before new years eve.

lol feeling pretty fuq today and my face is breaking out, so therefore the hand in front of my face. Not trying to be ~cool and hipstery with my owl ring~ or anything.

But you can see my haircolor pretty well I guess. I like it a lot, but since I just dyed it with some old non-permanent Manic Panic I had lying around, it'll probably be gone soon. boo

Happy New Year!

I can't believe 2010 is already over.
This have been such a great year. I've had some bad times, but when I look back, I think of mostly positive things.

2010 was a year of travel for me. I visited 7 countries in a total, on 5 different travels. I went to Prague with some kids from my school, Barcelona with my classmates, on a hitchhiking trip through Germany and The Netherlands with a friend, on a road-trip to eastern Europe with my dad, and finally to Berlin with some classmates and a lot of the other seniors at my school.
I love traveling, so in terms of that, this was a perfect year.

I met so many new people, experienced so many fantastic things, had some great adventures... ok this is getting too melodramatic. But you get the idea.
I think I grew up a lot in 2010.

My friend Linn is coming over for dinner in a few hours. A little later some of the boys from our class are coming over for a few beers and then we'll all go watch the fireworks another place in the city at 12 o'clock. Then I'll meet up with Katalin and we'll get drunk(er) and party all night.
Tomorrow I'll plan on having major hangovers and eat a cheeseburger. The last cheeseburger in two months! One of my New Years resolutions is not to eat meat in two months.

Monday, my mum took me to the cinema to see Biutiful.
I can't remember the last time a movie touched me so much. I cried in the cinema and I almost never do that. It was truly - beautiful.

It's only being shown in a few cinemas here, but really, you should all watch this.
I haven't seen other Iñárritu films than Babel before (you know, the one with the deaf japanese girl), but he's amazing. I need to watch his other films soon.

I'm having massive hangovers today and had to spend my morning cleaning instead of sleeping. After cleaning and showering, I met up with my friend Amy for hot chocolate. She's off to Paris tomorrow. Not jealous at all.. (as if).

Buttt seeing as I hardly got any sleep last night, I'll go to bed with more hot chocolate and The Subtle Knife now. I finished The Golden Compass weeks ago, but I haven't got around starting part two before today.

Happy Holidays everybody!
I hope all of you who celebrate christmas had a great time yesterday/today/whenever you celebrate.

I was supposed to go to Bornholm (tiny island) where my grandma lives to celebrate christmas, but because of the massive amounts of snow they got over there, we couldn't go. It would be impossible to get to my grandma's house from the port. My dad wanted to go but I'm glad we didn't - a lot of people had to spend christmas eve in a sports hall.
Instead we stayed here at my apartment. Most of my mum's family came, so it was a nice christmas after all.

I got a lot of money, so I can buy the boots I talked about a few months ago.

Decided to get them in dark brown instead of tan though.
But really, I can't wait to get them! My feet are cold and these are gorgeous. My black Dr. Martens are gorgeous too, but they're not warm enough.

Luckily, I got a tad more money than I need for the boots. I say luckily, because I lost my phone a few nights ago. Alcohol may or may not have been involved, but let's not talk about that. Bottom line is that I need a new phone. And if I'm lucky, it'll be this little wonder.

If I'm extremely lucky, it'll be the iPhone 4, but I'm not getting my hopes up. The 3GS is more than enough for me. I'll be happy to have any iPhone.
But it all depends on my provider, so we'll see on monday when I call them.
I might be selling my Nintendo DS Lite to afford it. Anybody interested? It comes with an R4 loaded with games.

It's past 1am and I slept on a sofa last night, so I think I'll go to bed now. I'm exhausted after two days of eating non-stop. /first world problem

I haven't slept in more than 32 hours.
But it's okay, because I've handed in my project.
The holidays has started.

My body is shaking. I had way too much coffee and sugar last night.

Tomorrow I'm going to bake cookies for christmas presents, buy a whole bunch of presents (i have no idea what yet), meet up with my dad, maybe see TRON: Legacy, do some laundry and go out with some friends at night. Thursday I'm going to buy the last presents, wrap them and make cards, pack, go to the gym, say hi to my grandma and then in the evening, my dad and I heading towards Bornholm to celebrate christmas. My grandma lives there, in a village by the sea, and it's by far the best place to celebrate christmas ever. So idyllic.

I was planning on going out tonight, to celebrate the hand in of my project, but I'm shaky and tired, so I'll probably just go to bed soon. I have a lot to do tomorrow, so it's probably for the best anyway.

I haven't really updated for a while. Not because I don't want to, but because the only thing my fingers seem to be able to type about, are Mexican immigrants. I’m in the middle of my ~line of study project~ aka SRP, and it’s consuming all my energy and focus. I'm at The Royal Library every day from 11am to 9pm. When I come home, my brain is too exhausted to compose sentences, which is why writing this blog has taken me about 30 minutes. I usually just surf a little and then go to bed with an episode of Misfits (which is, btw, a fucking great show). Then sleep for at least 9 hours (less doesn't seem to cut it), get up, shower, eat and go back to the library.

Even if I had energy enough to blog everyday, I wouldn't really have anything interesting to say. Unless you guys want to hear all about immigration to the US.

I am, however, enjoying this project quite a lot. It's nice being able to dig deep down into a topic. I'm almost beginning to like this zombie state my brain is in. And I'm certainly enjoying studying at ~The Royal Library~. I've never really been there before I started this project, but it's quite an amazing place.

I'm handing in this project on tuesday at 2:15pm. After that, it's celabration and oh happy days. And almost christmas. Haven't bought any presents yet. fuckkk

I've had a great weekend so far!
On friday I went to the christmas party at my school. It was cold as hell, but after a few beers you didn't really notice and I had such a good time. In my 1st and 2nd year, I always found the parties and my school boring and dull, but this year they've all been great. Maybe it's because I'm in the party committee now, so it's kind of my job to make them great.
On saturday, I had a work shift at ZeBU (the theater I got a christmas season job at). This is the best job ever, seriously. I actually like being at work, and I'm looking forward to my shift today. I got to see the show yesterday and it's so beautiful. It's difficult to explain, but it's a play with lights and music rather than actors. It's called The Holy Night and seriously, if you're in Copenhagen, go see it!

Made a new desktop. I loved the Harry Potter one, but I wanted something simpler. However, I made the Deathly Hallows icon for the folder next to the trash can, so I still had a little bit of Harry Potter feeling. If anybody is interested, I would be happy to upload the .ico file. I've begun making my own icons and it's a lot of fun!

Have to be at work in an hour, going to shower now.

I've been lusting over these since I saw them in the SS10 runway show. And they're only 120£! If they're still available in my size when I get a job (hopefully around january/february), I'm getting them. If not, I will hunt them down on eBay or something, I need them in my life.

I got a haircut today for the first time in two years. My last was in a crappy barbershop in London, december 2008, so it was well needed. I thought about going short ala this, this or this (still keeping my long straight bangs), but in the end I chickened out. Short could be fresh and a nice change, however my goal is to get looong big hair and going short isn't going to help me accomplish that.
So I just got all the damaged ends cut off and my bangs made a little heavier. I like it, but it's not very different from before. My mum didn't even notice before I pointed it out. So I'm thinking about dying it, to make some sort of change. The most obvious thing to do would be to resume project ginger, which failed a few months ago. However, I kind of want to do something more fun. I have half a tub of ~pillarbox red~, would dyed red tips look ridiculous? Trashy?

I didn't realize it was so matchy matchy until i drew it, haha.
Background picture was taken last january or february in Odense, but it looks the same outside here and now and I thought the drawing was a bit boring by itself.

My grandparents has started asking me for my christmas wishes. So far, my list goes:

▲ Woolen tights - navy, black, bordeaux/dark red or gray
▲ Money for these winter boots
▲ A thermo cup (so I can bring coffee and tea to school)

▲ Sheepskin mittens
▲ Books

.. It's depressing how grown up this list is.
I miss getting those presents you could play with all christmas night when you were a child. When christmas meant new toys that would occupy you for hours and hours. I mean, I'll be really happy if I get some nice tights and mittens (really!), but I'll probably spend the rest of the night occupying myself with the chocolates and confectionery my grandma makes, and not my presents.
Maybe I should wish for some new DS games.

I guess this means winter.

This morning, when I was already late for school, I came you to a completely frozen bike. Felt like I had used almost the whole can of WD-40 on the lock, my brakes, gear, etc. when I was finally able to go. frustratinggg
But the snow outside my window is pretty, so for now, I don't mind winter much.

I don't have much to say, but I felt like updating. Life's pretty good.

Harry Potter marathon on tv and hot chocolate = perfect combination when hangover.

Got home around 5 last night, went to sleep around 6 and had to get up at 10:30, because I got some work handing out flyers for the theatre my mum works at. Not a fun thing to do after 4½ hours of sleep and with heavy hangovers, but the pay is good.
When I got home I found out there was a Harry Potter marathon all day on tv, so that's how I've been spending my time since 2pm. Right now The Prisoner of Azkaban is on and when that's over I'll go to sleep. so tired right now.

Drew this earlier. idk why Ron looks so disgruntled, don't ask. Maybe because his ears are just lumps of flesh, who knows.

Not quite sure how I should spend the next two days. All my classes are canceled on monday, and I want to do something fun/interesting instead of just f5'ing facebook all day. Any suggestions?
I'll probably sneak by J-popcon tomorrow and say hi to some friends. I haven't seen Trine since she got back from Japan and she says she has a present for me :D But besides that, I have no plans at all.

- My bike is semi-broken and since I use it every day, I can't really take it to the bike repair shop.

This picture does it no justice (fffuuu phone camera) and I had to make it b/w because the colors looked so odd, but whatever, it's still beautiful. And it's the perfect size for school.

Today was OD day (if any non-danish people are reading this (which I highly doubt haha), it's a day once a year where a lot of high schoolers get the day off to earn money for a good cause). My friend and I worked at my mum's theater. We washed a lot of windows and cleaned the stage, but we also got to see today's show! It's aimed at younger kids (5th and 6th graders), but I enjoyed it nevertheless. It was great.

I hope you guys who worked on the OD day had a great time too! I'm actually sad that this was my last OD day ever.

I'm back home in Copenhagen!
Arrived at the aiport around 8 this morning, went to school, went grocery shopping with a friend, made and ate a stir-fry, took two fitness classes and now I'm sitting here. Life went back to normal surprisingly quick.

Berlin was so great and I don't even know where to begin, so I'll just write some lists.

Stuff that rocked my world in Berlin:
- The amazing view over the city center from our 23th floor apartment
- The apartment being big enough for us to invite 50 people over for a party
- Berlin being cheap as hell
- White Trash Fast Food restaurant, one of the coolest places I've ever been to when it comes to interior design
- Meeting up with my childhood friend Marie whom I haven't seen since forever
- A bottle of vodka cost 3,99euros in the Lidl below our apartment
- Free wi-fi at Starbucks - an excuse to drink delicious caramel frappuccino
- APOCALYPTICA CONCERT. fuck yeah, one of the best concerts in my life. fucking amazing
- Moleskine calendars are cheaper in Germany, alas I got my 2011 calendar now
- The fur bar on Oranienstrasse. the walls were covered in pink and leopard fur everywhere and.. it was just so cool ok? I think it was a gay bar, but idgaf place was awesome
- Seeing a panda irl in the Berlin Zoo. ksjdljslkd the cutest moment of my life.
- All us 12 girls in the apartment getting along so well. With 12 girls, lots of alchohol, only 1 bathroom and a messy kitchen, you would think drama was inevitable. but no. no drama. love those girls
- Apparantly my body decided to be nice to me, because even though I gulped down liters after liters of alchohol, I didn't feel hangover at all. woo!

Stuff that kind of sucked in Berlin:
- Loosing my camera. idk what happened, I was pretty drunk. But it's gone and it suckzzz :(
- My back aching from sleeping on the iron chairs for 6 hours in the airport last night
- Didn't get to eat sushi as I had planned
- Found some beautiful shoes in a vintage store but they were like 99euros. And two amazing artbooks in
neurotitan artshop. why does it has to be so expensive there? ughhh i want to buy everything.

So I guess judging how my trip went isn't that hard if you compare the two lists.

Now I need to do some history and design homework. sigh, I'm already in the need of more vacation.

Thursday night was great! After the concert and dj-sets at Global, Katalin and I went to a bar. I was drunk as hell and decided it would be a good idea to talk with this french guy who didn't know a single word of english. ..Which probably could have been interesting, if it wasn't because I suck at french sfm. haha

When the bar closed and Katalin and I decided to head home, I realized that it was 6am and I had school at 8am. ..yeah. So I went home, tried to get the alcohol smell off my clothes and then hit 7eleven for a few buckets of coffee on the way to school an hour later. Had a group presentation, so I couldn't really skip. It actually went surprisingly well though!

So, enough about me being drunk, I'm going to bed.
Berlin is only 3 days away and I have tons of stuff to do before leaving, so getting up early tomorrow is probably not a bad idea.

Yesterday my mum gave me this amazing fabric to make a skirt from.

She bought it in Africa 25 years ago and when I was born, she used it on the inside of my crib. Then when I was too old to sleep in the crib, she decided keep the fabric and yesterday she found it by accident.
I'm so happy she did! It's gorgeous.

I've had some mad shopping cravings lately, but as I'm going to berlin IN LESS THAN A WEEK (fuck yeah), I decided to try and save my money. There are so many great thrift shops in Berlin and I'm also tempted to get a skirt from American Apparel.
However, I did by these two little things yesterday:

Necklace from H&M and box for my earrings from Tiger.

In 1½ hours, I'm going to my first Zumba class! (ok they call it LatinMix at my gym, but it's the same thing). I'm excited! Hope it won't be too exhausting though, as I'm going to a cardio/strengt class afterwards.

Then a quick shower and dinner before meeting up with my friend Katalin. We're going to see some concerts at Lyddyr@Global, where my friend Ruben will be playing (:
Let's see if I'll have any energy left for dancing after those two gym classes, haha. Else, I'll probably just sit by myself in a corner and get drunk in their cheap White Russians. yum!

On friday, my friend Andrea and I threw our 2x19th birthday party for our classmates. We decided it should be a pie-party, so we baked a whole bunch of pies for dinner. mmmm they were good.

I had so much fun, my class have the best parties. rly.
And they gave us such great presents!

nomnomnom. Andrea got one as well, so now we just need to find a date where we can go stuff our faces with delicious sushi. so excited!

hi guys, you know what? it's my birthday today!
(for another 25 minutes anyway)

i had a GREAT day.
Because of the cut-backs on education, the students at my school arranged a sit-in from yesterday until today (with sleepover in the gym hall and everything) and then we participated in the big demonstration downtown. It might not be the most traditional way of celebrating your birthday, but to me it was perfect.

When the demonstration was over, I went out for dinner with my parents. We had burgers at Halifax and it was goooood. (I had the mexican one in case anyone is interested).

On sunday i held my family birthday party. We had cake and cocoa, excatly like when I was 5. It was nice. And I got some wonderful presents! Hadn't really expected much since I'm ~an adult~ now, but I got a pretty good haul.

The cake i baked! the motherfucking CAPPUCCINO FUDGE CHEESECAKE i baked. so.fucking.proud. it has a chocolate cookie crust, a layer of chocolate ganache, a big layer of cappuccino cheesecake and then more chocolate ganache.

mmm. it was good - so rich, but soooo good (..sorry if i'm braggin' here but this thing took me 3 days to make and it turned out perfect) pictures does it no justice

now I'm off to bed. do not want this day to end, but unfortunately times doesn't stand still because I'm having a good time. fu world

Yesterday I went over at my mum's boyfriend's house to play with the puppies

brb dying from cuteness overload
They are so lively and cute and then when they've jumped around you and played for half and hour they get tired and falls asleep under the couch in a pile and, awwww

Three of them have been sold and they'll be given to their new owners on sunday :( Bye puppies. The last one isn't sold yet tho, so if anyone wants to buy a puppy for 9000 dkk (yes, that's what they're worth, i'm in shock too), let me know, haha.

Now: all-nighter with danish essay and cookies, fml
Tomorrow: 90's theme party at my school
Saturday: clean-up at my school (fffuuu being in the party comity), bake cake for my family birthday pary on Sunday. I'm baking the most complicated cappuccino chocolate cheesecake ever and i promise to post pictures on sunday!

Friday:
Biked out to a forest with some friends and spend the night there in a shelter.
yes, we slept in shelter in the end of septemper. and no, it wasn't cold.. really, it wasn't! well maybe because we were 9 people in a shelter made for 6, but still. it was surprisingly hot.
AND FUN! idgaf how nerdy scout girl i sound like right now, we had a blast.

it started raining so our fire went out and we couldn't bake twist breads. instead, we resorted to baking tiny breads on the top of our candles. kind of pathetic lol

Saturday:
Biked home from the shelter (33km!), showered, ate, relaxed, etc. and then went to a reunion night out with the girls from my Roskilde camp.

We went to Christiania's pre-birthday party. Even though I'm not like BFFs<'33 with all the girls, it was a lot of fun. Made me miss Roskilde festival so fucking much though. ugh 271 days to go.

Sunday:
Went to Christiania's real birthday around 6. Missed the giant free cake (fml) because I decided to be healthy and hit the gym instead at 4. I don't know what's gotten into me lately. I mean, gym over cake? Really? REALLY?! I can't recognize myself anymore...
Later I went to Tivoli with this guy Morten and my friend Maiken who I forced along haha. It was nice though, we tried a few rides, ate churros and saw the most amazing fireworks EVER. It was the last day of the summer season so I guess they wanted it to be special. And damn IT WAS. still stoked about it.

Then I went to Ditlev's apartment and chilled until 3am with some guys from my class... Which resulted in me sleeping in big time and wake up around noon today :/

Buuuuut I guess it was worth it, we had a great time. This whole weekend has been great actually.

I don't think I've mentioned it before in this blog, but I'm going to Berlin in late october! It's something the seniors at my school does every year.

I love Berlin so fucking much. I've been there many times now, but I'll never get tired of it. Favorite city ever.

This past week feels like an eternity. How the fuc did time suddenly pass so slow?
But tomorrow it's finally friday and i'm madly excited about this weekend!

Friday - School and fitness, boo. But then drinks at my place with Line and later we head towards Rust and meet up with some other friends. My friend Ruben will be playing there, so we'll support him and dance all night.
Saturday - Probably hangover. Maybe I'm going to Roskilde to chill with my old roomie Nynne. Maybe she'll come to Copenhagen. If neither, I'll tidy up my room, write my social studies rapport and then to Global and/or the opening party at Stengade at night with Katalin.
Sunday - Going to lunch at my grandma's and then Rub'Adub Sunday at Stengade later. So excited for the re-opening of Stengade!

I'm back from the weekend with my extended family.
As predicted it was a little boring, but I enjoyed it anyway. Most of these family members I only get to see once a year, so it was nice catching up.
And the place we stayed was great! Just by the beach, a few kilometers away from the Great Belt Bridge. And the weather was great too, we were very lucky. Not a drop of rain but plenty of sun.

I ate SO MUCH during the weekend, so when we got home, I went straight to the gym, haha. I love working out again, I feel so ~healthy~

Also,when I made this blog I hadn't really thought that much about how I wanted it to be. What do you guys think? Should I keep up writing about stuff like my family/personal life that no one really cares about, or should I make it more like a personal inspiration/fashion/art blog? I'm leaning towards the latter one, it'll probably be more exciting for you to read.

Going to a big family gathering this weekend. I'm leaving in some minutes and won't be back in Copenhagen before Sunday afternoon. A part of me wants to stay home, go dancing, party hard, chill with friends and stuff like that, but the rest of me is looking forward to this. It'll probably be a little boring, but it's only once a year I get to see this part of my extended family, so it'll be nice too.
I'm looking forward to nice long walks by the beach and in the forest and lots of yummy food and cake (I baked 50+ cupcakes!).

The hut we're staying in probably doesn't have internet, so see you on sunday!

Yesterday my friend Trine and I made homemade sushi!
A first-time experience for both of us, so of course we failed big time. Or no maybe not, the sushi was actually quite delicious, it was just kind of... wobbly. Not really the perfect texture haha.

But we had a lot of fun making and eating it, so it was all good (:

We made three different maki-rolls, one with shrimp, cream cheese, avocado and spicy mango sauce, one with roasted pepper, carrot and chilli and the final with shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, cucumber and roasted pepper.
..yeah, we didn't have that many ingredients at hand.

Also, I've really sucked at updating this, considering it's been up and running for about a week. I'm going shopping a bit later (pay day wooo!), so when I get home, I'll show you what I've bought!

I decided to blog in english instead of danish anyway. idk why, but I like writing in the english language better. There are some expressions and words I like that just doesn't translate well into danish.
Besides, I need as much practice as possible; next summer I'm taking my final english exams and I really ~~need~~ want an A.

On wednesday, my design class went to The Danish Design School's graduation show. It wasn't as great as I had expected it to be, but there were still some quite interesting stuff.

My favorite thing there was a pill dispenser for people with parkinson's disease etc., but that's not interesting to blog about.

Right now I'm at my dad's place. I'm gonna spend my friday night installing Linux on my netbook, eating cake and watching sci-fi. My life is so wild.

Hej (:

Ja, nu har jeg lavet mig en blog på dansk. Jeg har i et stykke tid overvejet om min livejournal ikke var blevet for blog-agtig, i stedet for.. well ja, journal/dagbogs-agtig, så nu har jeg friends-locked den og oprettet denne blogspot. Så kan min livejournal være til de mere personlige ting, mens jeg har en mere hverdagsagtig blog her.
At have en blog her gør det det også lettere at følge og kommentere på en masse af de blogspot blogs, som jeg læser til daglig!

..nu håber jeg så bare at der er nogen der også gider at læse denne her :B

Jeg havde egentlig tænkt mig at skrive et længere første indlæg, men da jeg har brugt alt for lang tid på at lege med mit layout, bør jeg nok skrive min engelsk stil færdig i stedet for. Æv! Kunne heller ikke tage i Zulu Sommerbio og se Inglorious Bastards i dag pga. den.
